bedrock 0.1.20 (2026-10-16)

• toBaseR() gains a method for data.table: key, secondary indices and the internal self-reference are dropped, and a deep copy is returned. haven_labelled columns are converted to factors, as for tibbles.
• toBaseR() on tibbles no longer breaks up list and matrix columns.

• courseData() has been renamed to readCourseData(), which describes the function better.

• First public release of bedrock, the base layer of the DescToolsX package suite: data manipulation and reshaping, predicates for data inspection, vector and string operations, labels and metadata, and routines from number theory and combinatorics.
• Performance critical routines are implemented in C++ via Rcpp.
• Documented in the vignette "Combinatorics".
